well i didnt mention the name? but spotted gars get huge as well. i think all real species of gars get over 5'. its the ones the people lable gars that are not really gars that stay small. like the hujeta

No....... spotted gar do not get 5 foot long..... Nor do Shortnosed...Nor to Floridas....Nor do Tropicals........Cuban is up in the air.....(I have not seen decient data on this)

coming along just fine. just trying to put all the missing pieces together. i just recently picked up a 50g wet/dry sump to go along with the tank. can't wait to get it up and running. i have been out of the tropical fish game for too long! i have forgotten how much money needs to be spent to satisfy the craving for all things fish!
