crested geckos are pretty easy. most of the pretty or cool geckos are not the ones you can pick up and play with. leopard geckos are real easy to keep.
If this is your first lizard, then I highly recommend you start with a leopard or African Fat-tailed gecko. Day geckos aren't too difficult to keep, but they are not really the best choice for beginners.
i keep a gold dust day gecko and she is easy...shes in a 29gal with a branch spaning across the width and about two thirds up and fake plants to give greenery and some pvc pipes to hide in as well and fir bark as substrate i feed two crickets every two to three days and mist her twice a day and run a uv light 12hours a day...giant day geckos and such i here are the same as gold dust as far as care and such...they arent the type to handle just enjoy their behavior...and they are pretty...
