When I was doing salt I had a dragon mess with the lion and the lion make it a point to swim down to the eel and throw him self onto the eel stabbing him in the side.

I was shocked the lion did this in the first place. The eel wasn't happy and pretty much was injected with venom. The eel wasn't in too much distress as he did calm down after about 3-4 minutes of knotting himself up and trying to rub the injection site. He was a bit lethargic for a few hours but the next morning all was normal. The eel never again messed with the lion.

So, my opinion is you will be fine.

That is until the moray eel get hungry again! There is a lionfish removal program in Florida and they are teaching the native predators (groupers, snappers, morays and sharks) to eat the invasive lionfish. Apparently the moray eels are immune to the lionfish's poisonous spines and there is a documented case of a moray eel predated on stonefish.

DB.. How many morays are in there? How big is that tank?

Hawaii Dragon
Brazilian Dragon
Mexiacan Dragon
African Horned
Gymnothorax Prionodon
Whitemouth
Blackedge

Tank is a 375 gallon corner tank.

Never did find any Lion remains aside from a few dorsal spears....... Funny thing is I don't think it was even Mr Nibblez that ate it.......

They bump into the puffer at feeding time but the texture must be a turn off.

They're well fed, otherwise I'd be missing a few eels as some of them are pretty small.

Man you made me miss my Morays! Wow!
