Are My Oscars Alright?

Today my oscars are acting funny.:( They are not paying attention to food, and all 3 are at the surface with their mouths opening and closing. Doesnt seem like anythings wrong but they are acting like they at worshipping the air at the surface. I dont think they need more air because they have been in the tank with this set up for quite some time with not one problem. What can this be?:confused:

Have you medicated the tank recently? Sounds to me like you need more 02 in water. I would add an air pump and do a water change if I were you.
 
what kind of filters are you using?sounds like an airation problem to me.if you are using a UGF,then take the heads and shake all the crap out of them and do a water change,im mean a MAJOR water change,and clean under the UGF too.my brother just had this problem with his filters.he had all my frontosas floating at the top,all half dead.i ended up taking the fronts down to my tank with all of my south american cichlids and they got better.he got b*tched out alot for that.
 
What are your readings for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate and temp? Have you added anything to the tank recently?
First thing I would do is a big water change, then make sure you're getting enough oxygen. The warmer the water the less oxygen in it, make sure your filters are returning water at their maximum and if need be add an air stone.
 
Well, it was a air problem...I filled the water up just a little higher and I got two bio wheel set ups on my tank. Anyhow, guess after the water fill they didnt get enough oxygen. I added an air stone and they are fine geez just an inch did this what a trip. Anyhow, thanks for your support everyone, definatly appreciated.
