Are Night Crawlers Safe for Fish to Eat?

I bought some night crawlers at Petsmart which were sold as Lizard food. Is this safe for fish as well? I was thinking of feeding this stuff to my fish since it's easy to maintain than feeders.

I have fed them to my fish in the past with no problems at all. Just rinse the dirt off, cut them up if neccessary and chuck them in. Some gutload. But I only feed them occasssionally as a treat.

Only problems I have ever heard w/ earthworms is if they are collected from the wild and have been introduced to pesticides or such....they should be fine from the petstore....

They are fine to feed. They are a great treat for fish.

I will starve my fish another day before I give it earth worms. I've been trying to get it on non live food.

In the past I have fed my fish worms and they loved them!

I have also fed my past fish with night crawlers. Loved them. =)

It's fine. Just chop them up if needed.
