Ya paroons are not banned anywhere as far as I know, just another example of a true monster that is appealing to the novice aquarist. What makes these guys particularly sad is their strong desire to swim at mach 5 around their environment. Seeing them crammed in small tanks too often.
Oh and that picture you posted is a beautiful specimen, that black on those fins is unreal.

Shipping will be costly for a two foot catfish.....with all the water one would need in the bag and all,and that's if they ship....plus the last time I checked those paroons were four hundred dollars each.Check around some of the good Jersey shops and see if they can't get you one.
