are pellet maker stupid??

My arowana prefers the sinking pellets, don't know why.

If youre having problems with pellets going into your overflow you need to slow down a little. Toss them in one or two at a time and watch your aro eat it and then toss in a couple more.

I'm sure the extra time you take feeding your aro will be less than the extra time you take to clean your filters.

does anone else here think that the makers of all the arowana pellets have their head up the a**? I mean why do you make your pellet so fricking small when you know these fish reach huge sizes? I feed my black aro hikari pellets and they are great except for the size. Its like feeding a great white shark chicken legs 200 at a time. Make a larger size pellet for when they get bigger!!! I feed now and 1/3 of them go into my overflow because he can't get them all. Damn!!

im gonig to switch my aro to this stuff

the large pellets should cut it

hikari and NLS jsut pass through her gills, they are too small:(

My 6" jar will swallow a koi pellet just slightly smaller than his head but somehow seems to have trouble swallowing a piece of krill or a carnivore stick, he chews it for like 5 min :screwy:

lol! this i have to agree...
but maybe theres a reason behind it why they make it that small.
i tried the bigger pellets made for cichlid but they tend to sink at the bottom after a few minutes.
but my aro didnt like those bigger pellets so im sticking my ass to the smaller hickari food sticks! :)

a (for example) 16oz bag or small pellets is the same weight as a say a 16oz bag of large pellets.

now I feel like a dumb ass:nilly: I never thought of using koi pellets.. they are better anyway!!! There is a huge amount of foods to choose from also. Does anyone know what to look for in a food to bring out blue coloring? My black aro is looking great but I would like to add more blue to his fins if possible. I think the krill is really healping the orange color though.

Don't know why they don't make them bigger, but almost aro keepers i know (in Thailand:) ) prefer live food. If they know this demand they may produce big pellets:)

I don't have a fish that will touch the tera sticks
