My arowana prefers the sinking pellets, don't know why.
If youre having problems with pellets going into your overflow you need to slow down a little. Toss them in one or two at a time and watch your aro eat it and then toss in a couple more.
I'm sure the extra time you take feeding your aro will be less than the extra time you take to clean your filters.

I never thought of using koi pellets.. they are better anyway!!! There is a huge amount of foods to choose from also. Does anyone know what to look for in a food to bring out blue coloring? My black aro is looking great but I would like to add more blue to his fins if possible. I think the krill is really healping the orange color though.
