Are pure Rays a thing of the past?

You say the angle trade is messed up with all the hybrids I say it gives people more selection if they want hybrids they can buy them if they want pure bloods they can buy them to
More selection is a better thing surely

It nature for people to want something different to everyone else

People customise cloths shoes even cars
People have different tattoos wouldn't it be boring if everyone in the world had the same tattoo

I think it's wrong to slag of hybrids but if you look at some of my first post on this forum I said pure bloods only but after over 10 years of keeping p14 and Leo I find them a bit to same old same old

There are many farms dropping all kinds of hybrids. The market now screams for hybrids. People want the crazy look. One of a kind look. Like t1 is getting at. Once people first seen the pure leos they went nuts for them. Then can the thousand islands. Then some redonkulous hybrids. People just got board and instead of packing it in they got some unique looking one of a kind fish.

Thats one of the best Motoro hybrids Ive seen......obviously with blackie in there somewhere. Would love to know all the ancestry.
 
I'm glad we are continuing to have a good conversation here people! What does everyone think about the idea of people trying to breed a gene out of a hybrid and then claiming it to be pure? Say someone breeds the leo out of hybrids and sells these very similar to leo pups as Leo's? Obviously they can't possibly be 100% leo but would that be an issue?

That sir is my biggest issue with hybrids... the misrepresentation of them. I understand the appeal of something different and appreciate how good looking some of these hybrids are.. but ... all ray keepers know Rays change over there life and these hybrids are even worse. SO if someone wants to buy a leo and gets a hybrid leo look a like... that is how it will become an issue.
