Are shrimp ok for Dovii??

I have some juvie Salvini and Sajica and I was just going to get some shrimp for them should I leave the shell on or take it off for now until they get bigger.

would it be ok for me to feed my GT insects? and if so which kind? i already feed him hikari gold and blood worms about every three days. as for the shrimp all you have to do is defrost and put them in?

As far as shell, I always leave them on (but take the tail off). The shell contains high color enhancements.

Preparation, you can defrost. I just soak in warm water a few minutes, they get soft quickly.
