HAHAHAHA, come on, that's yellow :D

I'd say they are pretty green until they mature.

Even once Matured, Females have somewhat of a greenish sheen, and males can change colour and pattern quite drastically. Mine through some nice green.

Anyways, pretty green for a fish.

Not really Will. I have bred this species a few times. Males take on an outter yellow coat when putting on a courting dress for females. It might be a mix/hint of green in there, or maybe something in the blood line is tainted from way back? I would consider this to be yellow, in fact my male, when he sees females around, he sports up his yellow so deeply, you can't even see his spots.

Check out Lethrinops Oculatus. Sweet fish. Green body, red fins.
Is a Malawi Hap.
I believe you get some nice green on the Victorian known as a Christmas Fulu

i have 50+ fulu's they have some green not much, only green that i know of is called "haplochromis sp."finebar scraper" males only...here is picture of it.

According to Dave of Dave's rare fish, beware adding Lethrinops of any sort to a mixed hap tank as they are not dominant enough to color up in this environment.
Would lean toward the Victorians...

Victorians are VERY-VERY territorial trust me bro, i have blue bars-hulu's-fire back's-paralabidochromis sp."fire" male one left----and my very favorite Aneocolor's.....do not mix this guys, your tank will be stress tank not a cichlid tank.. and you wont enjoy your tank all ther're going to do is fight allday.

Someone earlier mentioned the christmas fulu. I got this pic from the internet. I'll bet a lot of you recognize the pic which I'm not going to state where it came from but I always thought this was an awesome pic of the fulu. It made me want to buy some, however I seriously doubt that they all look like this. Also only a little green on it.

one of my male's looks very close to that picture, i love my fulu's......get some you'll love it,,,,i have 40 fry's, and 4 of my females are holding...:D
