I have a colony of 3 male and 7 female Aeneocolors myself in my 75 gallon. The 75 gallon currently occupies 1 Strawberry OB male, 1 Eurekea Red Male Peacock, 15 F1 Labidochromis Caeruleus, 7 Zebra Hongi Red Top's, 5 4 month old Protomelas Steveni "Taiwan Reef" albino's, 2 1 year old Paratilapia Polleni, and a pair of white peacocks, I am sure are hybrids, but I mean, you never seem to find a straight white Peacock out there, so i couldn't say no! LOL
I have found the Aeneocolors only seem to exhibit aggressiveness towards females of their own kind really. Outside of that, they have acted farily mild for me. I've had the 75 running almost 3 years now, the recent additions were the Polleni about 6 months ago, from my 180 gallon tank. I just wanted to add in some color. I use my 75 gallon to stock up the better fry I spawn and grow them out, take the best males and females, and breed them back.
