Are there any hunters here?

I hunt, but no experience with a trail camera.

(and I'm not a gun nut. I think guns can be a lot of fun, but they are not an extension of a certain body part or considered self-defense to me... my .270 is for deer and my .410 is for grouse, period. I'm not scared of my fellow countrymen and love my country because of this aspect.)

Check out the stealthcam 6.0 version. $189 at Academy. I work there one day a week for the discount and have sold a few and have gotten pretty good feedback about them. The moultrie 6.0 is also great but we sell it for $289. Biggest dif between the two is the size fo the viewing screen.

Been reading up on different ones, seems the Scout Guard 550 has gotten really excellent reviews. The biggest complaint I've seen about Moultrie is the battery life.
