I need something that will eat the algae off my driftwood but won't chew away on my Aus Lungfish's Slime Coat.
Any Suggestions???

Every fish will have a different personality & temperment, but most well fed plecos won't bother their tankmates.

I'd go with a common bristlenose.;)

What do you think of a Papa or a Royal Whip?

They would be a nice addition as well, but the papa won't do a great job cleaning your tank. IMO, ottos, flying fox, small bristle nose plecs, and snails will work great if you have an algae problem.

My plecos had plenty of pellets and algae, and would still bother slow moving fish.

Jsut depends on the particular fish(pleco). I have a big 12"+ "albino choco" that literally killed two of my rays, but now he shows no aggression toward my marble motoro or big fire eel.

WOW!!! WAY OFF TOPIC!!! :screwy:

Won't your lungfish try to eat the royal whiptail?

and if your temps permit it rubbernose species.

Of course more waterchanges and less light will help your problem.
