My convicts have been vigorously defending a spot in the tank and there colors have defiantly brightened up. Hopefully I have eggs because this would be my first chance at animal husbandry. I have read up on convicts and breeding in general, but any knowledge is helpful. Thanks in Advance!!:newbie:

You can shine a flashlight through their spot and see if there's any. They should look like little orange beads stuck on some surface. good luck!

Yea every time I look for the eggs I can’t find em but I Know they must be somewhere

I found the eggs, but only as they were eating them and I figured that if they were going to eat them I should let them gain experience.

Yeah it's quite normal for cichlids to screw it up the first few times, you shouldn't feel bummed. If they spawn once they're likely to spawn again :)
