ARE THERE MEAN FISH BESIDES CICHLIDS

leps are always good cichild tankmates. They posses the power of making cichilds cower into the corner and destroy them one by one by eating their eyes and nipping their fins till barren. At petsmart there was a tank of leps with about 10 cichlids, which were all in the very corners of the aquarium with the leps controlling the middle. However, some leps are nice and will do nicely with cichlids.

how are leps a good tank mate, if they will eat the eyes of the victems?

My brother has a large and overcrowded cichlid tank. The best thing you can do is to add alot of hiding spots. and they will protect alot of the less aggressive fish

And I did say posses but not use. As well I said that some are good hearted while others - not so much.
