So I just found out that the white eggs are non fertile. Hopefully some of the eggs are fertile and hatch. Sorry for posting this in the General Area part of the forum was alil tired when posting this and wasnt thinking.
well.. the ones that are turning white are not fertilized.. but that also means that the others are fertilized. Which means, if i'm not mistaken, that you're gonna have baby fish in a couple days..
yes, you should move the other fish out, and cover the filter intakes with foam or adding foam filters and removing the other filters if you plan on raising the fry.
hatch time 3-5 days depends on temp.
another week for small fry to use up yolk sac attached to them.
will be free swimming when you need to step in and feed them.
turkey baster best, watch out for parents they may bite you at this time.
seperate soon after to save as many as possible.(from being lunch)
good luck, fry tanks can be small simple tanks and you can leave lights on 24 hrs for faster growth.feed several small amounts daily.
then finding homes for crosses is a pain !,most frown on crosses.
would make good feeders for dempsey, LOL.
some peps don't like parrots at all. (also crossed)
my 2 cents.
