If they’re serious about the prices then most likely they’re not getting the real fish. A tiger scat is going for about $200 from what I’ve seen and petco would be trying to squeeze every dollar it could. Not sure about mbu puffer but I know that price is far off.
Either the supplier is lying to them, petco is lying to you, or you’re lying to us. I believe that the second option is most likely so don’t be disappointed if they turn out to be not what you expected.

you know they say if it's too good to be true, it most likely isn't. Sounds to me he's trying to pull a fast one on you, or maybe he's giving you the importer price which retailers are generally secretive about, so I wouldn't trust.

I have known petco to sell some nice fish cheap. Just two days ago my local petco had a nice looking clown trigger for $59 i believe. Cheap compared to what ive seen most other places. I picked up a nice little flowerhorn for $10 myself.

But i do have to agree with the others, never seen prices that low on some of those fish. Could be hes mixing up the species with more common versions.
