i have omega one cichlid pellets. they are made of salmon, herring and shrimp as first 3 ingredients. 35% crude protein is this a good staple pellet for my FMs, convict and oscar?

They are excellent pellets. I've had better luck with those than Hikari.

Bio-gold is a waste of money IMO, you can't even buy it in xl bags like other types of hikari. Omega-One is my favorite type of pellet, I like how the first few ingredients are actually fish, not fish meal or anything along those lines. Just mix up the brand of pellets you feed every few weeks and use other non-dry foods so the fish don't get tired of one food. I feed hikari, omega-one, and HBH as staple foods.

Better than Hikari? Are you talking Gold, Bio Gold, Staple, or something else?

actually the Petsmart in my area is selling Hikari Bio Gold in the same size bag as those High Rated LFS that sells Hikari Massivore Delight pellets...isn't it like 13.4 something...?

omega one is the ****.. i have the goldfish pellets, FW trop flakes, algea wafers, blood worms, tubiflex, betta pellets, super color pellets, and prob more..

i use it because of the fact that they use whole fish instead of meals.. my fish gobble it up and show bright colors all the time.. :D
