Are these isletas?

Isletas don't get head humps from my research, or very minor at least. That male looks all Midas to me, female looks good as does the male tho. Great pick up.

The only barred Amph that are obtainable in the hobby that don't commonly show large nuchal are the Hogaboomorum. Others like Xiloaensis , chancho, Citrinellus , Amarilo and Sp Isletas . When reach subadult or adults frequently have rather large nuchals.

With the Amphilopus, you really need to know the source and sometimes it is still confusing. It does not seem to matter in the end because it is such a lovely species.

Yeah, alot of people still group the main species as one species don't they.
