AH! i had to read that a few times to get the meaning 
hmmm well the guy i am getting them from said they are all eating well (bloodworms, frozen krills etc and pellets...) i guess i will have to take his word for that!

Yes, a lot of people have problems getting them to acclimate and more often than not people tend to have a poor encounter with these fish, not to say it's impossible though. Getting them growing and thriving seems to be quite hard for these fish, many seem to be more "surviving" than thriving. Like COL said, if you can get the feeding right you've got a better chance. p.s. what ewurm mentioned should also be taken into account if you have multiples.

well i'll see where this adventure takes me... i got lots of frozen goodies prepared so hopefully they start settling in ok.
