What? 15"? Not even close. Most lower jaws are in the 24" plus range and ornate, weeksi and teugelsi all should hit anywhere from 18-24" or larger.

I dont think he meant those were lower jaws, hes saying those 3 are all very large upper jaws, and ornates get to 18" pretty easily, i would have to agree.

IMO your tank is on the borderline of suitable for life and too small. It will take a while to get to or past 18" if it does. When he hits 10"-12" though their growth is said to drop of so depending on the individual and it's growth rate the timetable could vary. I would say nothing less that maybe a year and a half and nothing more than 4-5 years depending on the individuals though it could vary so you can't really . I think the 54"x36" footprint would definitely be better for him, but you wouldn't have to move him into that for a while.
