Are These red tail barracudas over priced?

I went yest. Again and man their beautiful I think their 8 maybe 9"

Should get them because my others where too skittish and I any really want that they hurt their mouths too much

Thats the one reason i dont keep gars or cudas anymore. It hurts me when they ram into the glass. I painted my sides black and that relly helped the gars but the cudas would still hit the glass. I eventually moved them to a pond where they behaved mych better. Than they were eaten

Great happy. But in the end dead :(
I was thinking of the same thing for the gar paint the sides of the tank

How big is the tank you're planning to put them in? If it's a 6' or more, I wouldn't be too worried about them slamming into the sides. It's possible, but a lot less likely than if it's a 4 foot or smaller tank. If you're thinking of putting them in say a 75 gallon or smaller, then maybe you should be looking at something different for now. A 8" falcatus is a super powerful swimmer, and would definitely injure himself in a tank that doesn't allow for a lot of swim space.
 
major bad deal! I can get them for 30 bucks over here. I would a get an armatus with the cash!
