I still seeing some form of redness on the edge of the finnages. I dont think they are true platinum for I work with a true platinum silver for some years.

two platinums? and there not 60k? probably not true platinum. alot of breeders try to recreate the "platinumness" with various techniques.

Not a true platinum. They are just silver with higher shine. I've seen them too in my LFS.

I think you are correct. There were tanks full of fish there that they injected
some kind of die to make fancy colors on the fish. So I guess they could
inject a bleaching agent or dip the fish in it to lighten the color, but it still
doesn't turn it pure white.

who knows, so many breeds and just about anyone can cross breed too....look a little cleaner then silver tho.
