are these true altums?

I bought them as true altums from uruaguay so im guessing they are
pics are bad because i took them last night with the tank light off and a flash but you can get the general idea, came in with some bacteria and cuts from shipping and fin rot but that healed up pretty quick with some binox ( they were sitting in the bags for an extra 6 hours yesterday because the driver was a lazy arse and went to micky d's a few times to keep up his rep as " big dave"







 
yea i was suspicious of it, whatever there still pretty cool
 
darn! haha oh well i didnt pay that much only 8 a piece at wholesale so thats why they arent altums haha:)

pretty angels.. i like the wild scalare angels.. but they never seem to have em at my LFS.
 
Definitely wild sclarae/peruvian altums - a lot of guys call them "peruvian altum" to get the sale. True altums have a much taller, compressed profile.
 
thanks guys, this is something i will have to be aware of nextime i look at the wholesalers list haha
