Hello Everyone!
I have looked at this forum for quite sometime but have never made a post till now.
I have a fairly heavily planted 75 gallon tank that has been up and running for 3 years. I recently sold my discus because I wanted to get back into angelfish. I put in a special order for wild caught Rio Nanay angelfish (so I didn't see them before purchasing) and this is what the stores vender sent.
Perhaps it is because they are juvies still, but to me when I even look at pictures of other Rio Nanay juvies mine look....well like domestic silvers, even the body shape is different from what I was expecting. I was under the impression they'd have a more defined snout and colouring if that makes sense. I wasn't expecting altums as I know I was ordering scalares....but I have doubts about what I actually did receive.
So I thought I would ask the clever people here their opinion was and go from there.
So opinions please! Are these real Rio Nanay Angels (and maybe my expectations are too high) or domestic silvers?
