That could be due to the Henlei blood. Here is what true black diamonds look like from above. If they don't look like this from above (electric white spots, sometimes little spots between spots, and darker than usual), then I personally wouldn't say they were true BD's. BTW the little spots between the big ones sometimes form when the BD is older.
