my tilapia and largemouth bass, (both about 2in) have been
living together since i caught both of'um (from the same place)

now the tilapia constantly chases the bass around, nipping at his
fins, the bass's fins have never actually been nipped, but i still think
they need separation

yes, tilapia are very aggresive as a whole, I mean ultimately the fish's "personality" comes into play, not to mention the tilapia may have grew a lil more, and is being the dominent fish. But tilapia are very known for being aggressive

so i should definitely separate them???

i know i will, but just asking

watch them, if it is fin nipping that will happen, if its pure aggression like get out of this tank, then heck yes, or put a divider or eggcrate divider in...

its more like fin nipping, but i couldnt take it, so i put the tilapia in the pond

they are everywhere, and i see them all the time

spotted im sure
