are tilapia aggressive???

I've been looking for some Tilapias! I was staying at the Sheraton in Kauai (Hawaii) and they had ponds, and ponds full of Tilapias! Seeing them got me wanting some but I don't know what variant they were....... and where to find some.
 
ive seen one that had to be over a foot long, it was huge

please be advised that possessing live invasive tilapia in Florida is illegal.


probably not a good idea to brag on the Internet about having them.

ur lying...... no......... so all invasive fish are illegal to keep??

i shouldve looked this up....... dang, i feel so dumb

what about plecos??? is it ok to keep them wildcaught???

ill havta get rid of them all (i dont think i have many tho)

its gotta be some of the coolest species, i cant keep........

tilapia are prohibited in Florida, that is why you can't keep them...plecos, oscars, jags and all the rest are fine to keep.
