that does not sound very natural to feed the fish until stuffed,Won't that shorten the fishes life?

Predators are opportunistic feeders. In the wild they never know when their next meal is going to be, so they take advantage of their food source.

Except for arrowana, I usually feed my fish every other day, but when I feed them, they're full. For arowana, I feed them every day, but those guys don't eat a lot.

Not at all. Fishes in the wild gorge when they find food. When you feed them like that it gives them more protein and vitamins to grow faster. Thats why its called "power feeding".

Totally wrong. Power feeding on any animal will shorten their live, due to their liver have to constantly produce chemical to digest food, thus, will be ruined sooner.

Feed small portion more often. Your fish will have less aggresion than one big feeding session.

I feed mine every 2-3 days. I drop a crap load of frozen smelt or market shrimp and not even one piece hits the bottom of the tank.
They have full bellys and full mouths. My aro is the bully.
