Are you a prideful fish keeper?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
we have forums like MFK, AF and WW to share ideas on fish diet, tank setup and tank mates

if they are true friends, they would know to keep their mouths shut b4 they offend u....if they are not brudders then who cares about their opions

no one is expert on this and that......we all copy each other one way or another....the one thing about this hobby is when u think u have the ultimate fish or setup......some damn guy out there will blow u away with his fish and setup

i can't belieive how some guys are totally hardcore when it comes to this hobby....my hats off to those hardcore guys for sharing and willing to help

Haahah....thanks dude...sometime i feel that I am over board at times..but its my passion..what the hack..

so, from this point of view...meaning to say that if we are the ones visiting other peps place to see their fishes..we should learn to know to SHUT UP as well yeah?

Unless, the owner seeks for your opinion.

a fish owner's fish and setup is his pride and joy....if u offered unsolicited opion that the owner took wrong way or came out the wrong way then you have just stepped on his pride and dissed him

as long as unsolicted opions are positive then i welcome those....but when thery are negative and know it all types....i just yeah yeah yeah and ignore....the old rule of thumb, if u got nothing good to say, just shut the eff up

i hate one uppers and know it alls

agree on kman. Theres a fine line between giving advice and being an annoying backseat driver. I would usually give an advice to a friend in form of a question than dropping it as an absolute fact.

I also give straight up answers if i know the person well enough and know that
he wont get offended by it.
 
everyone is entitled to their opinion. just listen to their opinion, who knows, it might really be a good one?
 
Awwww no one never told me something was wrong in my tank, intead wen ppl come over they get amazed by my oscars and the tricks they do. Last time someone sayed some bad about my tank was a yr a go and it was my lil sis. However it doesnt mean my tanks are perfect it just means that the ppl that c it dont really know or care bout fishes.
