Apperantly the people they asked are that stupid, or flat out just dont care. American Society isnt based on random trivia inteligence, and as proven by the Election of Billy Clinton twice and a strong showing by his wife currently, inteligence isnt the average Americans strength. Ask the group there what Brittany Spears did yesterday and they could tell you because hey, that sh*t is important. Ask them where the nearest Starbucks is and they can tell you. Ask them what the Janjaweed are and where they are at / doing there and you have just played a winning round of stump the chump. I love America and am proud to live here and to have served in the Military for 20+ years but the average citizen on the street isnt concerned with detail that dont evolve around THEM and their little world.

Dude, that's not cool. You can't judge a person's intelligence based on their political affiliation.

It's always a good idea to base your judgment of an entire group of people on a few individuals... that's never caused any problems before...


Plus that is a joke news story, like our shows "The Daily Show" and "The Cobert Report". You could edit it either way, to make people look smart or stupid.

100% agree. Anyone can pick either side of ANY issue, do some research, and have a logical argument on why they are right. This is exactly what is going on here. The producers could have edited this either way to make Americans SEEM stupid or SEEM smart. It is all hypothetical if they do not show the entire footage.
