yes i have by learning you need to weekly water changes.
 
Just over 16 months ago, I didnt know squat about fish-keeping. Meaning, I seriously didnt know ANYTHING. I didnt even own fish. Now look at me. King of the Ocean.
 
biggest thing that i learned that made me a better fishkeeper was learning the nitrogen cycle
 
that's for sure, getting better day by day!
learn more while practice more.
 
I certainly am becoming a better fish keeper, Thanks to the advice and information on this forum!
 
I am because of this site and the great advice I get here, if I had kept listening to my LFS they'd probably all be dead by now. I also do more water changes, understand why I need to do them, actually TEST my water params, know what fish really get along with my fish, and the REAL info on size/diet/ect for the fish I keep. Thanks to MFK, my fishies will live much happier lives ;)
 
Ya I used to use bleach to clean my filters and water change? whats that

Now I can keep 14 fish in a 55 and still have them grow:)
 
trying.. I think I need to stop looking at fish when I go to pick up stuff up at the store. Definitely better than before though.
