Who wants to guess what the water temp was????? :naughty:

Holy ****. That looks awful. It was pretty warm over weekend, 90s?

55 F. If they were the Lacerdae or Australis I wouldn't be as surprised if it was a aimara since they're a subtropical species. Ken is coming back from his trip in a few days Btws which I believe means another baby lac? :D

90s when they left. Supposedly stuck in a bad snow storm somewhere out east over the weekend.

The measured water temp of the fish upon arrival was 6 degrees above freezing. 38 degrees F.

Does not surprise me at all. Still crazy though.

90 hours in a friggin bag?!? OVER half a WEEK in shipping?

Water temp only 6 degrees above freezing!?!

The fact that a fish could live through this does NOT surprise you? Seriously?

Nope. I admire it, but you should see what they do with these fish (and what happens in nature) in South America.

Who did you get them from? It happened to me once, and now I make sure that when I order stuff it gets shipped on Mondays. If it ships on Thursday and something happens, you're screwed for the weekend. I had a Flagtail take 4 days when it was suppose to be overnight. Poor guy lasted a week before he died. Bag temp was low 40's if I remember. That experience has also made me wait till nighttime temps are much warmer to have fish shipped.

The route Fedex uses to get things to Iowa from California also baffles me...

Wow.
Usually my fish go from Cali to Tennessee to Iowa.
Congrats on the new fish.
