Aren’t Asian aro highly illegal

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Probably a scam ad, $300 is low for Asian Aro outside of regions where they are bred. I see the site has several listings, probably by similar con artists. Best report it to the site and continue keeping a keen eye out ;)

None of the strains he listed are $300 ,there are many threads about this scam ,it always includes "we are licensed breeders of asian arowana"

Oh ok, I’d never seen it, I found this looking for a place to sell my Lima shovelnose since Craigslist keeps flagging all the fish ads, thanks for the heads up tho

With even no mention of CITES its not even believable.

Doesn't really matter if it mentions CITIES or not because even with a CITIES permit, it is still not legal for a private individual in the US to own one of these fish.

No **** sherlock.

Many of US fishkeepers who are more aware of the legalities would have noticed no mention of CITES either who have ever been shopping overseas and then see no mention of it. Its a fish nerd observation. ? even gigas are CITES schedule II lol still can bring them into the US tho enough importers here to do it instead of having to look overseas to even worry about it as its the importer doing CITES II paperwork.

Any fish on schedule I , like the Asian Aro thats guaranteed 100% CITES trail even if its capative bred, at the end of the day no matter where the chipped fish is in legally /illegally its still a CITES required fish at the end of the day.
