I Have a Trimac(M) and a Red Devil(F) Breed.

No they would not be flowerhorns. You could call them anything I guess It took years of select breeding to get flowerhorns. They have a lot of different genetic "parents". To be a "new" breed then all of the offspring must turn out similiar to each other. Your fry you will have some that look more like a Trimac and then you will have some that looks more like the Red Devil and then they will be the fry that have a mixed look.

The flowerhorn was created throught the process of breeding several species of new world cichlids togeather and keeping the offspring that had the desired trait ( long fins; red color; good flowerline) The newer strains of flowerhorns focus mainly on intense color ; long fins; kok and pearls. Well you won't know if they are flowerhorns until they get bigger now will you. Because that red devil might be a flowerhorn. haha. Oh, and wait that Trimac might be one too. haha again.
