Argentea pectoral fin?

Hello! I got this 5-6 inch argentea today from a lfs. When I got him home I noticed this on on his pectoral fin. It appears to have a broken ray. Do you guys think it might heal? Thanks! He is currently solo in a 75g.

It's possible may take time like months. Keep water in pristine condition.

On the 2nd pic it kinda looks like an old injury. The ray has snapped off and remains present in the fin tissue, & the fin edge looks smooth & clean. I doubt that the ray will regrow, but the fin area might close up with consistently clean water as tlindsey said, and good nutrition. I would add salt at 1tbsp/5gal in addition to your water changes
