the ray was only in the tank for about 24 hours would that be eough for them to lay eggs, btw its a bare bottom

if they are ready to lay.... 5 min is to long.

i think ur best bet is to:

turn all ur filters off,
pull out the ray with the lice, (get the lice off)
as ur pulling them off, have ur buddy ready with ur python ready to suck up the ones that flew off in the netting proccess. (my opinion)

this is a very good remedy, i would recommend this. I have done it in the past with good results.

ive used paraquard with good results and treating ray tanks... i would give the tank a good salt treatment though after all this
