Those things are brutal. Every video I have ever seen of them feeding, they attack, tear whatever the prey is in half, eat that half, then go back and watch whatever it killed die a slow painful death. Wicked fish for sure

Not true. They don't watch it out of enjoyment. Whenever possible, they swallow it whole. When they eat something bigger then they can whole, they need to rip it up. I don't like when ppl do this for enjoyment but I don't blame the fish. They're just doing whatever they need to get fed. And doing what comes naturally.

juvinile micros feed on crustations in the wild and the turn mainly into fish eaters as adults , but will feed on anything when the oppertunity arrises , inc birds ect , it it not a matter of if it eats the crayfish it is when he eats it .

also in the wild it is reported that the micro kills much more fish than it actually eats , there is no two ways about it they are nasty fish , dont get me wrong they are also one of my faverate fish and ive kept many , but micros are like the mike tyson of the snakehead world , there all good likeable fighters but some are just dam right nasty b,stards and nothing will change them

Unfortunately, not too many people like to post an average feed of their fish. They want to show the brutality for their sick entertainment. While I can admire any predatory fish, I don't find things like this to be appealing to me.
