OH, just thought of this mine is 9 banded, lots of them ! but I think maybe 7 banded not so prolific

they taste like pork

Its a little bit greasier than pork and a really dark meat, but on the whole, Tasty!

Are you saying armadillos are endangered in the philippines ? Good lord they are everywhere here & to the south are way OVER populated! Maybe I misunderstood you

Armadillos are a New World species so yeah, I guess you could say they are very, very endangered in the Philippines, lol!

In the US? The 9-banded is the only species that naturally ranges into North America, so it should be the only one you see (although not all 9-bandeds have 9 bands-that's just the average)

Well, today while I was at work Rocky destroyed my bathroom rug, it is now armadillo bedding! Right now he is chasing my 120lb. australian shepherd every time the poor dog gets near me, guess he is protecting me & the dumb dog runs!!
