Problem is if they're Tats I need at least 1/2 dozen..... LOLIF they are Armatus I don't want the chore of housing any more than 3.I payed for mine within an hour of the first post...LOLEither way is fine with me too..... An Armatus rocks no doubt but have you guys seen a shoal of 1/2 dozen hungry Tats? Every bit an equally impressive feeding frenzy.

i doubt it.
they look like armatus to me and they already have been ID'ed by someone whose kept an armatus.

LOL.. Bro, LiLNeet was one of the first, if not the first to have an Armatus in the states. Also, at that size. He had a them grow with the same size Tats. When he grew out the Tats I picked up four of them. So yes, he definitely has experience with Payaras.

i think there are both species mixed in the group. there are a couple that looks like tats here, and one or two that look like armatus. time will tell!

Same here. I seen a lot of them with freckles and I think those are Tats. The ones with out freckles are the ones to watch for (JMO as I never ever seen Payaras under 5" except scomb/ralph)
