Armatus and more

I want to inform the members that the fish is leaning toward more like a tatauaia and not an armatus as per some comments made.

I want to make it clear that the fish is not a 100% full guarantee of an Armatus, it can end up being a tatauaia.

Here's a few pictures of a baby 2-3" Armatus...

The one thing that continues to confuse me is the back fin? It is round like the pics you posted?? Maybe...

I'd take that part back. I still have my hopes up.

those look like tats, but eating like he was in the pic hes screaming armatus.

they are just a little too small to be sure...

I'll say. I bout 4 DZ guppies and they were chasing them around the tank with aggression. The bigger of the 2 I have ate 3 guppies quick and chased the 4th on the top of the surface. Now dont get me wrong, but my Tats never followed food unless it was a snap away (goes for all 3pcs I had). So Im at 50-50%

The pics I posted were from the RW shipment.I'm guessing less thann 20% stay with the original owners.There's a reason we have yet to even see a foot long Tat over here...........

maybe they were chasing feeders like that cause they like that when theyre young?
i dunno.
but thats what i notcied in scombs.
when they were small theyd chase feeders all over the tank.
then when bigger theyd just wait.
i still think theres tats and armatus within the shipment.
