yea it's what i call advance hobbiest syndrom where you've already been there done it all, and by default only the rarest and most difficult appeal.

There's a trend for deformed by birth fish or whacky hybrids as well, where some fish are priced well over their "normal" counterparts.

Right,but it just looks unnatural to me.I like rare fish as much as the next guy but I dont think I'd need a tank full of white fish just because I've kept everything and supposedly done it all.Ditto on the purposely deformed fish and hybrids but to each his or her own.:)
