Just raise him proper....

Always house him with something bigger, badder, or able to take all the punches.

IF it's never top dog it won't have a title to uphold.

You're allready halfway there by not giving into feeders.

My first one hit almost 14 inches before a fallout with dats that took the Armatus and 1 Dat..... But up till then it never got the typical Armatus attitude..... It was even housed with a PTC for almost it's entire life that never hit 8 inches, It was in a community setting. Dats weren't down with him running the tank. The biggest Dat died a week after the Armatus from what I believe to be wounds durinng.

yea i know what you mean, im going to just keep him with pbass till i see any sort of aggresstion between the two i was hoping that since i started him young with cichla he wouldn't be to aggressive towards cichla in the future. but again i dont know. so when hes 8-9in i may just put him alone of with fish he would possibley be more compatible with.

Ahh... The Armatus muzzle comes up in conversation again.... LOL

Yup they are definetly some angry fish. I'm starting to wonder if they are as angry as Dorado though.....

too bad you can't spay or neuter an armatus in order to better keep them at bay.

Throw them in with your Dorado..... That'll keep thier attitude at bay, or at least come as close as you can to neutering them..... Something will be removed...LOL

 really i never did know that dorados were aggressive more then armatus? wow.. thats something else it like raises the bar.

Has anyone house a Armatus with a Malabaricus? I'm just wondering if it would work since the wolf is more of a bottom dweller during the day and the Armatus seems to be more active. Then again once the lights go out it's anyones guess as to what would happen.
