armatus came down w ick, Help!

ive been having problems with my feeders and i think my armatus is coming down w ick. im wondering what kind of salt to get and what kind of dosage because i have to treat him in the 140gal with all my other fish because i dont have an extra tank. thanks
 
what are the other fish? If you can, start raising the temp to 86 and use non iodized salt
 
I like to do the raised temps, salt and Ich Attack (all natural) treatment. If you have one lyin around, i like to put a UV Sterilizer and run it with a weak powerhead (50 gals gph). Hope this helps and GOOD LUCK VAMPTREV!
 
agree with above...bump up your temp and use salt...also might want to add some extra aeration. When i had my armatus, the tank that he was in was always at 84-85. I guess the high temps usually kept ich at bay. In the future keep on eye on the feeders that you buy...make sure they look healthy and not sickly looking. Also quarantining them would help out a good deal, plus you could gut load them. GL.
