Wow. An Armatus with ICK?

Sad to hear. I'de move the Scombs if you haven't allready and for the love of all your Payara knock it off with the feeders. Or at least run them through QT for a few weeks. At least your feeders didn't give them something nasty.....YET.

thanks. dude it looked like ick but i dont think it was. his skin was getting cloudy and i think its from the high nitrate levels. ive been doing water changes every day for a long time and the nitrate is still boomin. any ideas?
 
Nitrate....Do you use UG filters?

What exactly is your stock list, tank size, filters?

When I have high Nirtate it's usually traced to a dirty tank/dirty filters/uneaten food/ or dead fish (way back in the day when I thought feeders where OK)
 
i have a 140gal with 2-redtails 1-armatus 2-scombs 3-vulpinus 1-jardini and 1-atf. i had 3 rays also but i took them out because i thought they put too much bio-load on the tank. it didnt help. i have 4-emperior 400 biowheeles and one of the new marineland c-360 canister filters. ive been doing water changes every day for a long time. i only keep about 10 feeders in the tank at a time, and they dont last very long
