You guys have no idea what gulper is capable of... There is a reason they're called gulper. They have no problem of eating fish that is 2x to 2.5x their size, especially elongate fish. They have the ability of fish bending.
 
Wow thanks for calling me out bro I had absolutely no idea. I love big gulpers! Never thought of the bend and that the gulper would try every chance he got.

Actually I do know what I'm talking about. If the gulper is well fed he should be fine.

Lol theres no way. Maybe a fish as long as it is and much skinnier. Id be way more worried about the gulper becoming food

2-2.5x their size is a little bit of an egsageration, gulpers can easly eat something 1-1.5x their size but unless it's an eel or a skinny bichir, nothing 2x their size will be consumed

So you haven't seen a 6" gulper ate a 12"-14" silver arowana? Look up the forum. There was some thread about it
