ARMATUS FEEDING (PLAYING WITH FROZEN SHRIMP)

my Armatus feeds like this occasionally? He only does it sometimes. He can eat much bigger feeders and gulp them down but with shrimp sometimes he plays with it.

Looks like he's trying to move the food item so he get's a certain part in first. Have you fed him whole smelt? Then you can see this behaviour as well, trying to get the head or tail part in his mouth first.

mine does it sometimes too when hes not "starving"

i think the reason is that he dosnt rely like the shrimp that much....
