for rarer small volume demand expensive fish, the LFS's do not keep inventory. There are at least 2-3 levels of distribution. but the good thing is the LFS i deal with would take the fish back if it turned out not to be an armatus (i think). If i am able to take a photo, it means i already paid deposit. End customers are never allowed to go to the distributors. see what i can do though. He said they are 3 inches now, and waiting for the seller to stabalize and grow them out a bit before selling. My guess is he's not even sure if they are armatus. 500usd though, that's a lot of dough, and this is the low side guesstimate. Seller claims to only have 2 and won't name a price yet. For 1500 can get an 18 incher but not a compatable size.
