I will try to get a bunch of shots soon. The armatus lost some scales during the move and he had to be starved for quite some time. I have some diff. sp Tor in a growout tank that I would like to use but right now they might be expensive dinner.

btw... that GATF is a hikari algae wafer eating machine!

I would like to have the armatus solo honestly and it will probably end up that way. When I was moving fish a while ago, tiger was probably about 9" a the time. As soon as I put him in the tub to acclimate to other tank he went belly up. I ended up just tossing him in the tank and he recovered but I would give him little chance to survive a move to someone else's tank. Maybe with sedation. Even now I am waiting for the day I come to him dead with no bite marks. He hits the tank walls so hard when he gets spooked. He would be much better in a 1k tank even at this size.

Yup, I can remember all those feelings as if it were yesterday... Its a sorry feeling (for me atleast) cause I couldnt enjoy him like I wanted to (plus he was like a pc of driftwood Lol... motionless). Sounds like your guy has some personality. The best was when he would bite feeders in half and make a u-turn to chow down the other half

I found that at late evening/night is when my Goliath was most active... he would take laps around the tank

Why not toss in some dithers? Even maybe some Koi fish, silver $'s, paroon, big bala shark? I think it would take some of the "Could be" attention off the 2 prize fish (JMO)
