Armatus Identification thread

those are great pics I bought a what they called sabertooth payara at my local fish store he is about 3-3.5 inches and i was wondering why he's not eating and how to get him to eat and if he is a payara at all
 
In Revision of the neotropical fish genus Hydrolycus (Ostariophysi: Cynodontinae) with the description of two new species.
If you look at key to species. It's so easy to understand in 4 species.
 
The Adipose fin on this one is Orange/Tangerine so I think it's an Armatus but I've been told it's a Tat. What do you guys think?
